Henry

Henry was the first male Bernedoodle I brought into my breeding program. He is so affectionate, loyal, loving and protective. He is my big, tri-color teddy bear.

I can take Henry anywhere and he goes with the flow. He’s a great traveler, and joined us on a 24-hour drive to Florida. He slept the whole way, and was ready to enjoy the dog parks, beaches, and camping. Everywhere we went, he attracted attention and he took it all in stride. People were very curious about him, and he posed in a lot of photos with complete strangers!

Henry and Pearl, one of my Bernese Mountain Dogs, are lovebirds. Pearl is completely infatuated with Henry, and he is happy to be adored. But he isn’t exclusive: Henry gets along great with all the other dogs, and will play with any dog that’s up for a romp. While he isn’t a swimmer, he will get his feet wet and splash around a bit.

His coat is exactly what I want in a Bernedoodle—soft, wavy and non-shedding. Overall, he has taken the best of both breeds, with the stocky good looks of the Bernese, and the intelligence and goofy character of the Poodle. In fact, I call him my poster boy for Bernedoodles, and his puppies are turning out to be just as fun, social, and loving as he is. I’m proud of this boy!
